Suzi and Travis Worsham have been in the restaurant, catering and event hosting business for over 30 years. They recently moved to Loudoun County from Clifton, Virginia, to create this beautiful new venue for brides and event hosts. All of their contacts in the food preparation, decorating, equipment rental and other support businesses are available to the clients of Riverside on the Potomac. When you visit Suzi to schedule your event, she will share all of her experience with you.
Riverside on the Potomac – yesterday and today
The 80 acres that are Riverside on the Potomac also includes a stone building probably built in the late 1700 to early 1800 and recently lovingly restored as the home of Suzi and Travis Worsham. The original log cabin and smokehouse have also been renovated. The stone and timber bank barn with Stable Gallery is the largest restored barn in Loudoun County. The bank barn reception room and the stable are climate controlled. The Long Stable Gallery has a terrace heater for chillier weather.
Visit with Us
The Worsham’s home, log cabin, and barns are on the same property as the party venue and create a surrounding backdrop for the events. On the day of the wedding, accommodations for the bride and her attendants will be in the House. The groom and groomsmen will be comfortably accommodated in the Stables.
