Tours are by appointment, one couple or group at a time. Before we schedule a tour, we will send you pricing information for your desired date. Please email or phone to schedule a tour.

We do a nine-hour rental period. Additional hours may be purchased however all events must end by 11:00 pm. We hold one event per day.

Our outdoor wedding choices are The Waterfall Terrace, The Gardens, or The Cattail View, or for smaller weddings the Historic Log Chapel Grounds. We also provide three inclement weather venue choices, The Long Stable Gallery, The Stable, or the Historic Reception Barn.

Our Reception Barn and The Stable are climate controlled with heat and air conditioning. The unique historic quality of the Reception Barn was retained with clear plexiglass strips to give the illusion of the air spaces for ventilation from times past, allowing the space to be heated and air conditioned. The Stable (circa, 1750) is climate controlled. The Long Stable Gallery for the chillier months has patio heaters or can be enclosed with clear tent siding and heated as need be. All venue areas of our facility are handicapped accessible.  We also provide the use of our golf carts for ferrying guests if needed.

We can comfortably seat 300 guests for a dinner with large dancing area and large lounge for beverage service. Our weddings have ranged in size from third nine guests to three hundred and fifty guests.

The bride and her ladies can change in our historic home, they may use the front parlor, the dining room, and the library. The groom and his gentlemen have the Groom’s Lounge in The Stable. Both spaces are climate-controlled.

We provide a terrific list of approved caterers. We also allow outside caterers with Certificate of Insurance, licenses, and a prearranged site visit with our representative.

Yes, Riverside on the Potomac is a BYOB facility.

It is our opinion after 37 years of wedding experience, to make your event run smoothly, a coordinator is a necessity. We provide a list of preferred vendors, or you may hire the coordinator of your choice. A member of our staff is here the day of your event to provide that our facility is in working order and to help with the parking of vehicles, unloading of transportation, and vendor access to the facility.

Yes, we allow candles and lanterns. The flame must not be higher than the rim of the container or glass. We also allow LED candles on beams and other venue decor areas.

Yes, we do allow them outdoors on gravel or asphalt areas.

There are several B & B, Airbnb near us, hotels in Leesburg, Virginia, and Frederick, Maryland. We provide a list when sending pricing and informational materials to the client.
